Esfahan-Shiraz

Ride to the airport is no problem and so is security and handling. Mr. Mohammed asks us whether he can fly with us to Shiraz since he prefers that over a regular scheduled flight. Teheran-Esfahan

Breakfast at the hotel is top and we get picked up and an easy drive to the airport. There Mr. Mohammed is already waiting for us. Take-off is slightly delayed due to some issues with filing our flight plan. But all works out and we are in the air soon. The flight to Esfahan takes 1 1/2 hours and is without any problems. Easily out of the airport where our guide is waiting for us.read more...

Tbilisi-Teheran

After a rainy night in Georgia we make another attempt to take-off. Again very efficient handling on the ground and at 09.15h we are airborne; 1 1/4 hour after leaving the hotel. The flight plan takes us over Aserbaijan, the Caspian Sea straight down to Teheran. During the approach we are first impressed by the high mountains and then by the size of the city. Tbilisi

We are still working on our permit for Azerbaijan since the folks there are a bit difficult to deal with! Nevertheless we decide to go to the airport where we are in no time through security and immigration. Despite all the efforts also by our supporting friends back home, we get the nasty news: No permit for Aserbaijan - so we have to stay another day here in this nice city!
